This is a translation provided for convenience. The legally binding version is the German one; in case of discrepancies, the German privacy policy prevails.

2. Server log files

When this website is accessed, the web server automatically stores data in server log files. The following is recorded:

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free operation and the security of the website. The log files are kept on the server named in section 4, are accessible only to the people entrusted with running it, and are evaluated solely to analyse errors and to fend off attacks. They are deleted automatically after 31 days at the latest.

3. Contact by email

If you contact us by email, the information you provide is processed in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted once the enquiry has been conclusively dealt with and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

4. Hosting

This website runs on a server that the controller rents from Hetzner Online GmbH and operates itself. Hetzner Online GmbH provides the server and the data centre and processes the resulting data on behalf of the controller; a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded for that processing.

5. No cookies, no traffic measurement, no third-party services

This website sets no cookies. Only when the appearance is explicitly switched between light and dark using the toggle is this choice stored locally in the browser (localStorage); it is transmitted neither to the server nor to third parties and can be deleted at any time in the browser settings. No reach or usage measurement takes place. Fonts, images and scripts are delivered entirely from the server named in section 4; content from further third-party providers is not loaded. Consent is therefore not required.
